FEATURED POET: Matthew "Preach" McDowell

Love Nightly Thoughts

You Ever Wonder What Tommorrow Holds
Is There A Fight For My Soul?
Probably So
So I Proudly Go
Harder And Harder
To Better My Situations
With Many Stipulations
But I'm Bout To Fuckin Loose It
Send Me On A Vacation
Cause I Can't Take The Lies
Can't Take The Hate
When You Look Into My Eyes
Love Is Alive
So Don't Be Surprised
Cause Love Can Survive
In A World That Has Died

Right through my heart

Valentine's day is one week away
and my heart still aches with pain. How could you be so cruel to me
and take my love in vain?
After i've been sincere and given you my heart
and you not have a care in the world
that you've ripped it all apart.

For what I've seen you used mefor your egotistical ways
and was not even man enough
to communicate seperate ways.
You could have made it very clear to me in the beginning of it all
That soon you will be leaving meand prevented a major fall.

The way you went about it all,
You've given me great power
to live my life single again
and to know you are just a coward!!

The World I Live In Pt. 2

Trey Songz at Summer Jam!! Now, I cant sit here and bash him at all because he's been doing his thing in the game while others are resting and/or no where to be found, and therefore I have respect for him. He has most definitely came far from where he started from. He is one of the most paid artists to perform and has done so in multiple places, and has sold out tickets time and time again. What he doesn't seen to realize though is that not all of those who buy tickets for his performances are of age.

The sexuality of his music and performances are mainly for the mature and adult audience, but these days, everyone has access to just about anything, leading to minors having access to his music and even his shows. As you can see in the picture above, he is interacting with a female audience member in a very sexual, some may even say explicit, manner, ending in a nice little make-out session. What he failed to realize was that the only proof of identification this young lady had was probably no more than a freshly printed High School ID card.

This young lady, as shown here, was the one he kissed on stage during his performance. She is apparently 15 years old, or as she seems to state it "The Baddest 15Yr. Old You Know." The way things are today, kids at the age of 14 could look about 16 or even 17 year old. The way they carry themselves sexually could easily fool a much older guy if he is not careful. Just look at the picture. She does not look 15 years old. I would give her at least 18. She looks older than some of the girls that attend my school. Mind you, I attend a college. So it is understandable that he could get her confused with an older female and pulled her up onto the stage.

My thing it, he should be aware that his audience consists of both adults and minors, so just about anything could happen to compromise his image if he is not careful. The smartest thing he could do is have a female performer or at least a female of age staged in the crowd in disguise as an audience member, this way avoiding having another moment such as this. Better safe than sorry, although she probably enjoyed it too much to be sorry. And also, girls these days are rushing to grow up, physically and sexually, and the way society is changing now is not even slowing down the process but rather fueling it.

Kids channels like "Nickelodeon" and "Cartoon Network" are now airing shows that show teenage interactions and even advertise the boyfriend girlfriend scene. There are kissing scenes in just about every channel. Kids don't even get to experience the "Koodies" stage of life. Virginities are being lost at ages as young as even 13. They do not seem to understand what they are rushing themselves into, and by the time they realize it, it's going to be too late. It just hurts me to see how the world is changing and even scares me to think of how it will end up, and to know that my future children will be living in this world.

"This poem is for that guy ^_^
I'm gonna try and say this the best way I can..."

THOUGHTFUL ABSENCE

I wish I could drop a kiss in your heart and be closer to you....
Or maybe close my eyes and appear beside you.
Somehow you die in my spirit and glow in my soul
The feeling I'm feeling will never grow old.
Why am I so afraid to LOSE you when you don't even BELONG to me?
Why do I think about us..... questioning if there can be eternity?

I know what to do..I know I can treat you right
I wish to be beside you and cradle your love at night.
I wish to walk hand in hand knowing that we are joined by our hearts
I wish to wake up to you with a smile as the day starts.

So I lay here and think of you....think of us
I try to stop because I don't wanna think too much.....
But I can't help it...

How To Keep A Woman...

WARNING: This message may not be suitable for the immature eyes of those who mistreat and/or use women! Please close this window if you are one of these people. The contents of this material is not to be taken likely, for it is essential when it comes to keeping a Good Woman in your life. They are also not meant to be abused and overused. Too much of anything is bad for anyone. USE WISELY!

The Best Way To Keep A Woman Is:

  • Figuring out her flaws, and learning to love them all.
  • By not comparing her to the little girls from your past. Thats a No no.
  • Be there for her when she least expects you to be and right by her side when she needs you the most.
  • By not just having the right words, but practicing them too. Don't talk about it, be about it.
  • Be her support when life is on her back weighing her down.
  • Keep the butterflies in her stomach by being the same guy she fell for from the start. THIS IS MANDATORY!
  • Cut off the little girls and give her your undivided attention.
  • Listening. By listening, you will always have the right response when she asks "what do you think?" VERY IMPORTANT! Nothing worse or more embarrassing than an unrelated answer to what she spent time talking to you about.
  • Respect her for being a Woman, not for treating you as a man.
  • If you sense she is upset, and you ask, and she says nothing, do not continue to press her about it. it just means she's not ready to talk about it at that moment. Just wait a little and ask again later.
  • Learning how to make her laugh even when she's furious. It opens them up to talk about what is bothering them. This is key to her attention!
  • Love her for the things she doesn't love about her self. Appreciate every part of her, physically and emotionally.
  • Correct her when she is wrong, but acknowledge that you understand her part. They might feel a way but honestly will always earn her respect.
  • Avoid lying to her. It can be difficult at times, but keeping her is more difficult when you lie to her.
  • Be the reason she cries with joy, and the one she goes to when she's crying in pain.
  • Find her emotional pleasure spots and hit them until she orgasms with unconditional love and care for you. SEX WILL NOT GET YOU THERE!
  • Treat her the same way in the presence of your friends as you do in private. Putting on a show will only entertain spectators, not your main audience.
  • And most importantly, don't be the woman...Man the F@#$ Up! (o_O)

*CAUTION: MAY LEAD TO THE UNCONDITIONAL LOVE AND AND CARE FROM A WOMAN WHO EXPERIENCES THE THINGS FROM THIS LIST IN CONSISTENCY! Not to be used on Spoiled Brats, Birds, Street Chicks, and/or GoldDiggers. You are trying to keep a Woman, NOT a Little Girl! KEEP OUT OF REACH FROM CHILDREN!

SomeTimes...

SomeTimes we do things we not suppose to due the satisfaction we get from getting away with it...SomeTimes we tend to stay with the people who obviously don't deserve us so caught up in the moment and not realizing that we are being hurt...SomeTimes we tend to put so much time and effort into being loved by someone that we don't realize that we are losing love for ourselves...SomeTimes we tend to listen to a friend's opinion rather than our hearts...SomeTimes we lie thinking that we are protecting someone feelings when all we are doing is preventing them from feeling their real ones...SomeTimes we tend to put hope into people who don't have hope in themselves...SomeTimes we tend to drink/smoke out frustrations away not realizing that it will be there once we sober up...SomeTimes we ask questions we dont want answers to...but I'd rather the Harsh Truth than a much Satisfying Lie any day...Crazy the things we somethings...(o_O)
